Hi,

I am Aman, and this safe space is where I am most raw with my thoughts, hop on if you'd like to interact with them :))

This chapter is answering a list of questions by Kepano, I find his thinking very original, especially his views on software as lego and thought it would be a fun exercise.

1. What would you do if you had 6 months to live?

If I had six months to live, I would try to maximize the time spent with my family, girlfriend, and close friends. Additionally, I would like to publish a short film or anime.

2. What would you do if you had a billion dollars?

If I had billion dollars I would:

  1. I would allocate some money towards projects that makes reality feel more like science fiction.

  2. I would buy a nice house and very intentionally curate the interior such that it speaks my personality

  3. I would seek out smart people and collaborate with them on meaningful projects.

  4. I would like to hire the world’s best coach in a sport and train intensively so that I could compete in competitions.

  5. I would start a venture with my girlfriend—something that aligns with both of our interests—and work together to build it

3. What advice would you give yourself 10 years ago?

If I could give myself one piece of advice from 10 years ago, it would be to prioritise building things and use those projects to connect with interesting people.

4. What do you hope will be the same 10 years from now?

My curiosity to build things, meeting interesting people, loving my family, girlfriend and friends.

5. What do you hope will be different 10 years from now?

I believe I’ll be more experienced, more mature, and have a bit more freedom to spend time with my family and friends.

6. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

My idea of perfect happiness is being with my family and friends, building challenging things, and having enough money to enjoy life.

7. When and where were you happiest?

I was happiest when I asked my best friend to be my girlfriend and she said yes.

8. Why do you get out of bed in the morning?

I get out of bed every morning to build things, and because each day feels like a new beginning to me.

9. What do you consider the lowest depth of misery?

I think the lowest depth of misery for me is death of a loved one.

10. What is your most marked characteristic?

My most marked characteristic is that I am humble and extremely friendly.

11. What is your greatest fear?

Death of a loved one.

12. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

The trait I deplore most about myself is getting distracted easily and not operating with a sense of urgency

13. What is the trait you most deplore in others?

The trait I deplore most in others is selfishness and zero sum authoritative thinking.

14. On what occasion do you lie?

I would typically lie to avoid small meaningless arguments.

15. What is your greatest extravagance?

My greatest extravagance is food and aesthetic home accessories.

16. What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

The most overrated virtue, in my opinion, is admiring intelligence even when it leads to zero-sum outcomes.

17. What do you most dislike about your appearance?

The thing I dislike most about my appearance is my level of fitness.

18. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would strive to operate with a greater sense of urgency.

19. Which talent would you most like to have?

I would like to have the ability to be more focused for longer periods of time.

20. What do people frequently misunderstand about you?

People misunderstand me as not being competitive and not operating with an ego to become the best.

21. What is the quality you most like in a man?

High emotional quotient

22. What is the quality you most like in a woman?

A blend of childish nature and wittiness

23. What do you most value in your friends?

Their ability to accept to tolerate me.

24. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

working at an early stage startup as their 01 employee

25. If you could give everyone in the world one gift, what would it be?

If I could give the world one gift, it would be the support to pursue what they truly want to do.

26. What was your greatest waste of time?

Passive learning: watching YouTube tutorials on math and physics without actually practicing problems or building muscle memory.

27. What do you find painful but worth doing?

Exercise.

28. Where would you most like to live?

I would most like to live in my hometown

29. What is your most treasured possession?

Sticky notes from my school and college days, polaroid photos of me with my friends, and the wallet my girlfriend gifted me.

30. Who is your best friend?

My girlfriend.

31. Who or what is the greatest love of your life?

My girlfriend.

My father

33. Who is your hero of fiction?

Rock Lee(Naruto), Isagi Yoichi(Blue Lock)

35. What is your greatest regret?

Nothing

36. How would you like to die?

In a painless manner, while doing something I absolutely enjoy.

37. What is your motto?

Create things and share them with the world.

38. What is the best compliment you ever received?

I don't remember exactly but something about my writing

39. What is the luckiest thing that happened to you?

Making internet friends

40. What makes you hopeful?

The act of building something.
